We are creating Phoenix Rising using the RPG Maker XP program, which uses RGSS as a scripting language. Q: What is this game being developed with? Not just yet, but when we do we'll be sure to let you know! We are focusing on English for now, but we will do our best to translate to as many languages as possible. We can say however that we have tested this on weaker machines after our ongoing optimisation and can say that it performs 2 to 3 times better than it did when the game was started with Pokémon Essentials. Closer to the release of the demo we will release "system specifications". Due to this, performance was a huge factor in our development process and we did every possible thing we could to improve it. This game is being made with a rather outdated software due to lack of other options. Phoenix Rising is built without those limitations using the Pokémon Essentials engine, our own custom "Arisen Engine" and RPG Maker XP. Nope! ROM hacks are modifications of the base games created by Nintendo and are limited to the hardware specifications they were created for. Further down the line we will be considering ports to other devices, however we are not ready to confirm whether or not other systems will be possible.
